The Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport’s passenger volume has been rising for several years, with connecting traffic adding to much of the growth. The newly expanded YUL Connection Center provides the airport’s 55,000 daily passengers with an easier and more comfortable journey.
This new, dynamic facility is designed to respond to changes in regulations for customs crossings and security in the future. The addition increases processing capacity, centralizes connection processes, improves passenger orientation and overall customer experience and facilitates better flexibility for facilities.
EXP carried out this project in accordance with sustainable building standards. As civil engineer, the team led drainage, levelling, utility relocation, pavement reconstruction and construction of building protection elements for security and weather threats.
