This new Rhythm City casino gaming resort replaces the existing riverboat operations and reflects the “rhythms” of the nearby Mississippi River bank.
The casino includes a 194,700 SF gaming floor, 30 table games, 900 slots, three restaurants, a spa, pool, 1,500-seat Event Center and a 106-room hotel. The resort also offers guests a hotel with multiple suite offerings, as well as a spa and high-end restaurant.Building engineering and lighting design services enhanced the guest experience for this vibrant new resort.
Lighting design for the guest experience
EXP’s team designed the lighting for the interior and exterior of this casino development. Our team designed lighting for the façade and porte cochere, illuminated with dynamic color-changing, rhythmic LED lighting echoing the rhythm of flowing water. The LED lighting provides a stimulating guest arrival experience. The design motif continues inside to the spectacularly illuminated Grand Hall, greeting guests with dramatic curving LED lighting coves, downlights, decorative pendants and chandeliers.
