EXP is proud to announce the promotion of Alam Ansari, M.Sc., P.Eng. to Vice President, Eastern Ontario Infrastructure. In this new role, Alam will continue to elevate EXP’s infrastructure presence in Eastern Ontario and the Canadian Arctic through market expansion, strategic positioning efforts and the development of new client relations.
Since joining EXP in 2000, Alam has served as Senior Project Manager and Director of Operations, Eastern Ontario. During this time, he has been instrumental in establishing EXP as a leader throughout the region. Bringing over 35 years of experience in infrastructure design, construction management and contract administration of municipal, institutional, commercial and industrial projects, Alam has managed hundreds of major projects. His project proficiency spans hospitals, hotels, and institutional, residential and industrial buildings in Canada and abroad. His notable projects are Thunder Bay Correctional Complex, Royal Canadian Dragoons Regimental Headquarters, Library and Archives Canada, New Preservation Centre, Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Carleton Place Hospital and Parliament Precincts of Canada Program.

His ability to navigate alternative delivery projects within scope and budget has led to many of EXP’s Alternative Project Delivery pursuits in the region, and we look forward to his continued success,” said EXP’s Senior Vice President, Ontario Infrastructure Robert Andrews, P.Eng.
Alam holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a registered Professional Engineer of Ontario.
