On March 8, we recognize International Women’s Day by celebrating the achievements of women at EXP and across the world. Gender equality has come a long way, but there is still progress to be made. EXP joins many around the world who know from challenges comes change and we choose to address those challenges to make meaningful changes.
In the science, technology, math and engineering disciplines, women are often underrepresented, but it is up to us all to work together to change this. EXP supports the mission of International Women’s Day and believes that we can all work together towards a more gender equal world. The greater mission of gender equality is a job for everyone because it benefits us all.
To celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day, we gathered virtually to stand in solidarity and show our support and commitment to action. By taking steps to eliminate barriers, through action and education, we can make meaningful change. For example, in the science, technology, math and engineering disciplines, women are often underrepresented, but it is up to us all to work together to change this. EXP has launched a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee to gain a deeper understanding how we can close the gap and forge a more inclusive workforce. Even while apart, we are stronger when we all work as one to challenge existing gender biases and work towards a more equitable world for all. Happy International Women’s Day!
Together, we can forge an inclusive world. Find ways to support and let’s continue to work together.
