On June 13, Sherbrooke’s Espace Centro celebrated its official inauguration. The innovative space was created in collaboration with EXP’s project partner Groupe Custeau and the City of Sherbrooke. Espace Centro is a vibrant community of businesses, organizations and residents. It is also the workplace for 200 EXP employees. As a 50% investor and partner in this project, EXP has demonstrated a commitment to providing a modern, stimulating workplace for its employees and revitalization of Sherbrooke’s downtown area.
“We’re very proud to be back on Wellington Street, where it all began for EXP in Quebec 96 years ago. We’re returning to our roots and also looking to the future. We’re confident this historic district has a lot to offer as an attractive and dynamic place to live and work,” says Dominique Nadeau, Executive Vice President, Building + Industry.
Mark Dvorak, EXP’s President and Chief Operating Officer, said during the press conference, “Espace Centro is a true public-private partnership, the largest in terms of investment in Sherbrooke’s history, bringing together the City, the community and businesses to create a living environment we’re all very proud of.”
After the inauguration, EXP employees, clients and partners gathered in the EXP office at Espace Centro to celebrate our return to the downtown area, a milestone in our history.
