Mid-September, 60 employees from our Quebec offices were among the 2,000 cyclists who converged on the Montreal-Mirabel airport for the weekend to participate in Make-A-Wish Quebec’s 48-HOUR RIDE.
This year, 10 “EXP ça roule” teams – two more than last year – relayed for 48 hours on the ICAR track and part of the Montreal-Mirabel airport main tarmac, braving the cold rain and strong winds, raising close to $50,000 to grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses across the province.
Returning for his fourth participation in the challenge was our 2016 wish child, Raphaël Paquette, who just recently joined EXP as a full-time employee, working in the Finance group at our Granby office.
“Riding with Raphaël is always very inspiring. We are privileged and honored to have him leading us on the track,” says Hervé Rémy, long-time participant and coordinator of the “EXP ça roule” teams.
Thanks to everyone who gave so generously to support this cause and congratulations to the members of this year’s “EXP ça roule” teams!
