In partnership with our prime consultant, EBA Engineering, Inc., EXP’s Maryland team began work on their first major construction management (CM) and construction engineering inspection (CEI) contract for Anne Arundel County. The expert transportation team, including Negasa Badada, David Amlalo, and support staff James Bahr, Scott Kiebler and Laura Zengel’s involvement, will perform inspections during the preconstruction, construction and post-construction phases.
The team is currently doing pavement, curb, gutter and sidewalk condition assessments, according to Anne Arundel County’s Pavement Management Program procedures, compliance inspections on curb ramps, sidewalks, driveways and street crossings according to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways (MUTCD) requirements.
Vice President of Transportation, Dan Williams, at EXP’s Maryland office shares, “We are very excited to begin work on this project for Anne Arundel County. We opened our office two years ago with a commitment to provide quality transportation services to communities throughout Maryland. We’ve prepared accordingly, to get boots on the ground and keep Maryland moving. Going forward, we’re excited to get rolling on this project and establish a strong relationship with Anne Arundel County and other counties throughout Maryland.”
