EXP is excited to announce two new transportation wins in Florida, adding to EXP’s growing transportation portfolio in the southeast region. The transportation team in Florida team, led by Phil Stevens, has recently won several transportation projects that continue to support Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) initiatives.
In Palm Beach County, EXP will be providing a range of construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services for FDOT’s D4 District. Vice President, Construction Services, Tony Caruso, shared, “This project will bring safety improvements to SR 25/US 27 and will include the installation of rumble strips, reflective pavement markers, shoulder widening, bridge widening, guardrail replacement, restoration of existing berms for drainage improvements, as well as signing improvements and resurfacing.” He continues, “Our team is heavily invested in understanding the impacts on our clients, local stakeholders and the community, as well as how to manage resources to stay on-budget and on-time. We enjoy working with FDOT to achieve their transportation goals and are certain our experience will support this project’s success.”
The team also won a contract to rehabilitate concrete pavement for a limited-access facility along nine I-95 ramps. The design project, for FDOT’s District 6 will correct concrete pavement deficiencies such as cracking and pavement joint damage along the aging interstate. Project lead, Jorge Lopez, shares, “Our Miami Team has recently won projects with the primary scope focusing on milling and resurfacing of asphalt pavement. This concrete pavement rehabilitation project adds a new dimension to our resume and showcases the full extent of our expertise in Miami and our versatility in delivering solutions to meet and exceed the FDOT needs.”
