The new Connection Centre at the Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (also known by airport code YUL), is the latest addition to EXP’s airport project portfolio and was recently featured in Airport Improvement magazine. Our civil engineering teams designed the plans and specifications for the project.
As mentioned in the Aéroports de Montréal press release, issued December 2019, when the new Connection Centre first opened, the new infrastructure represents an important driver for the development of YUL’s air service. The facility offers greater fluidity and comfort for passengers, in addition to increasing capacity. Guillaume Halde, senior vice president, infrastructure, says he is delighted that EXP got to leverage its expertise for this project. “We are proud to have provided civil engineering consulting services for the construction of the Connection Centre, and to be key players in strengthening YUL’s status as an air traffic hub,” says Guillaume.
