EXP’s transportation market recently announced the promotion of Thomas Hough to vice president, transportation, Rowland ‘Red’ Hoslet to vice president, Wisconsin transportation leader and Brian Hecht to vice president, civil department manager (pictured above). Each plays an instrumental role in EXP’s growth, revenue and momentum as a leader in regional and global transportation.
“Brian, Tom and Red have established themselves as technical experts who understand clients’ needs to achieve cost-effective, sustainable and safe transportation solutions. Brian Hecht, PE
As vice president, Brian will continue to advance EXP’s civil department in the Midwest. With over 20 years of experience as a civil engineer, Brian is able to deliver a wide range of transportation related improvements and leverage technology to achieve efficiencies for clients. Brian’s strong leadership skills develop and mentor the next generation of transportation professionals and help EXP’s civil engineering team meet tomorrow’s challenges. Brian is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in Illinois, Florida, Georgia, Indiana and Michigan and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies Illinois.
Thomas Hough, PE
Thomas Hough has been promoted to vice president. Tom has more than 25 years of experience in the delivery of complex transportation projects. With growing transportation demands throughout the Midwest, Tom continues to embody EXP’s client-focused mentality and maintains exceptional project management by delivering high-quality solutions for clients on time and within budget. Tom’s project management expertise allows him to deliver multi-modal transportation improvements throughout the Midwest and help clients navigate the sea-change affecting the industry. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in civil engineering. Tom is a registered professional engineer in Illinois and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies Illinois.
Rowland ‘Red’ Hoslet, PE
Rowland Hoslet has been promoted to vice president and will continue to grow EXP’s presence throughout Wisconsin. With 30 years of engineering experience, management, quality and construction best practices, Red applies his strategic experience to meet the growing infrastructure needs across the state with diversified service offerings. His forward-thinking approach immediately led to EXP’s involvement in award-winning projects to enhance regional connectivity, safety and sustainability including the Underwood Creek Parkway Replacement and Wisconsin Highway 11 Reconstruction project. Since joining EXP in 2019, Red has been instrumental in identifying new opportunities to support diversification, establishment and maintenance of client relationships and growth opportunities. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is a registered professional engineer in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, North Carolina and South Carolina. Red is a member of numerous organizations to advance the field of engineering including the American Society of Civil Engineers and American Council of Engineering Companies, ACEC – WI.
