Global engineering, architecture, design and consulting firm, EXP, is pleased to announce the appointment of Reece Bailey as executive vice president, major projects, to lead the Major Projects sector based in Ottawa. Reece is a recognized transportation leader with over 25 years of experience in transit and rail design, operations, facilities and systems engineering.
EXP already boasts an impressive portfolio of major transit and infrastructure projects, including the recently announced Hurontario LRT, Pattullo Bridge, Davenport Diamond project, Toronto Union Station, Chicago’s Red-Purple Line and Montreal’s Blue Line Extension.

Reece has led several major alternative delivery projects, including the design and commissioning of new subway, light rail and commuter rail systems, stations, extensions of heavy rail networks, freight and depot facilities, highways, bridges and tunnels. He has managed and directed large design-build projects with capital costs over USD$10 billion and has led multidisciplinary teams to successfully meet major milestones with tight deadlines. He has also provided strategic advice to government agencies on major transit systems, working in over 15 different countries including Canada, USA, Dubai, UAE, India, , Brazil, Hungary, Kazakhstan and the British Isles.
