Recognizing the importance of local expertise, EXP has strategically grown its team with talented project managers and industry specialists.
Son Dao, PE joins EXP as a constructability expert with over 35 years of experience across transit project phases. He has worked on design, planning, construction, operations and maintenance and has a strong knowledge of transit and subway standards, project management, field operations, technical specifications and cost estimating and scheduling. He has been involved in critical projects with Fujitsu Networks and New York City Transit and has been responsible for the effective delivery of major capital projects. He has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Polytechnic University.
Chander Shahdadpuri, PE C.Eng, FIStructE joins EXP with over 30 years of national and global experience in structural design, inspection and retrofitting of building and transit projects. He has led structural departments for the designs of residential, commercial and mixed-use buildings, theme parks, leisure and sports centers, stadiums, retail, industrial and cultural projects throughout the Middle East. His experience also included overseeing the retrofitting of MTA rail projects in New York City and the design of structures in high seismic regions. He is licensed in New York, New Jersey, Florida, California and Arizona. He holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from SP University in India and is a fellow of The Institution of Structural Engineers.
Majdood Siddiqui, PE joins EXP as a Senior Traction Power Engineer with more than 40 years of experience in the design and construction of electrical systems for commuter rail, heavy rail, and light rail transit systems. He has previously provided program, project, design, and construction management services in the New York metropolitan area for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Amtrak, Long Island Rail Road , Metro-North Railroad, New York City Transit, as well as for rail operators across the country and abroad.
Robert Blick, PE joins EXP as a design manager with 25 years of experience in design-build, communications, systems and software for critical infrastructure projects. As a New York State Professional Engineer, he has served in roles such as lead design engineer, project manager, engineering management, systems architect and design manager on various large-scale design build, construction, public, private and private public partnership projects. Robert has a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical engineering from SUNY Maritime and was a member of the US Coast Guard Third Assistant Engineer Steam and Motor Vessels.
Husky Ohonwa, PE joins EXP with over 25 years of experience in the analysis, design and inspection of transportation structures. He has worked on highway bridges, buried structures, retaining walls, foundations and other structures. He also has experience in highway design and hydrologic/hydraulic design with a geotechnical design background. Husky has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Ambrose Alli University and a Master of Science in highway and traffic engineering from the University of Lagos.
Kimani Ali Bey joins EXP with over 25 years of experience designing electrical systems for various projects in the construction field. His project expertise includes the development of electrical systems for building construction. These buildings range from upscale single family residential units to commercial and residential high-rise buildings. Kimani has experience in healthcare infrastructure and the designing of compliant emergency power systems. Kimani has experience with the design and construction administration of cellular phone propagation sites as well as highway lighting. Kimani has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Syracuse University.
