July 12, 2024

The new administrative building for La Haute-Yamaska Regional County Municipality recently received the Illumination Award from the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Montréal for the best energy-efficient and environmentally friendly design. The award recognizes a project that exhibits innovative lighting design and reduced energy consumption.

The new building features LED fixtures, as well as advanced motion detection and dynamic dimming systems, significantly reducing energy consumption. The high-performance lighting systems not only contribute to sustainable development, they also enhance the building’s overall aesthetic and reduce light pollution. These features also contributed to the building achieving LEED Gold certification.

This project reflects EXP’s commitment to designing solutions for a greener future and leading innovative, sustainable projects.
