EXP is proud to announce the promotion of Julie Beauséjour to senior vice president, International. Julie will lead EXP’s new International sector and focus on strengthening EXP’s operations in developing countries. Julie is based in EXP’s Montreal office.
Julie brings over 17 years of international development experience and will be responsible for the continued expansion and development of EXP’s international relationships. Since joining EXP in 2008, Julie has led several projects in Vietnam, each has helped build EXP’s reputation in water treatment engineering. In 2014, she was promoted to vice president, International, in EXP’s Infrastructures group. In this role, she coordinated the development of major programs and projects with key international organizations including The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), the World Bank, the Asian and African Development Banks and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Julie is an established leader in urban infrastructure planning and brings proven experience delivering complex projects in varied environments, working with international organizations and clients and executing projects across multiple business lines. She obtained a PhD from the Université de Montréal for her thesis on low-cost green sewage treatment techniques in developing countries. In 2020, she was recognized by the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec with the Honoris Genius award in the Rayonnement international (International reach) category, and the Coup de cœur des membres (Members’ Favorite) award for the Vietnam water engineering program.
