EXP is proud to announce the promotion of Rachael Sampson to Vice President. In her new role, Rachael will provide strategic oversight for the firm’s science and technology team. She will continue to lead and implement initiatives to drive new business and grow EXP’s presence in the science and technology industry.
Rachael brings over 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering to the firm. Her vast experience spans projects including chemistry and biology labs, BSL-2 and BSL-3 suites and pharmaceutical research and manufacturing facilities. Throughout her 20 years at EXP, she has contributed to a variety of major projects, including the APEX building in San Diego and the Center for Novel Therapeutics at the University of California San Diego. She is also currently working on various all-electric design projects, including Bioterra and the Pacific Center research campus.
“Rachael’s knowledge in new building construction and central plant design has been invaluable to EXP’s ability to provide advanced and sustainable solutions to our clients. Her ability to develop impactful solutions that improve our clients’ operations has been extremely valuable to the firm and I am excited to see all that she will accomplish in this new role,” said Senior Vice President Bill McGuire.
Rachael has a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering with a concentration in HVAC from California Polytechnic State University. She is a Professional Engineer in the state of California and a member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers and I2SL.
