We’re excited to announce that Rowland (Red) Hoslet has joined our Transportation group as Wisconsin transportation leader. Based in EXP’s Milwaukee office, Red brings over 30 years of experience in engineering, management, quality control and construction best practices to support EXP’s strategic focus to expand and strengthen transportation initiatives across Wisconsin. Reporting to vice president, transportation, Brian Umbright, he will be a part of a talented team that is recognized across the industry for meeting the evolving infrastructure demands in the Midwest.
As a professional engineer and established transportation expert, Red has led significant transportation projects, including expressways, freeways, bridges, rural and urban highways, interchanges, intersections and multi-modal facilities for local, state, and federal agencies. He has successfully managed initiatives for Wisconsin State Highway 83, 55, 160, 42 and 29, among dozens of other infrastructure improvement projects, utilizing his expertise in geometric design, traffic control and construction staging, public and community involvement and stakeholder coordination.

Before joining EXP, Red held senior engineering positions at several local and regional engineering firms, where he played a critical role in assessing project requirements, business plans and client relations. Red is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison where he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is also a professional Engineer, registered in Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, North Carolina and South Carolina.
