On August 21, walkers and cyclists from EXP joined Team Raphman in a fundraising event that took place in the Daniel-Johnson park, in Granby. The team collected over $19,000 in donations for Ataxia Canada.
Raphaël Paquette, from our Granby office, lives with Friedrich’s ataxia. Leading Team Raphman, he rode with several EXP colleagues, his friends and members of his family. Donations to Ataxia Canada will help support and improve the well-being of other people living with ataxia through its foundation’s financial support programs, like the one Raphaël benefited from for the purchase, in 2020, of an adapted bicycle and an Hippocampe all-terrain wheelchair, in 2021.
“I want to thank EXP and all the other donors and participants for supporting us. You made this challenge a success, and thanks to you, we surpassed our $12,000 goal”, says Bianca Guillemette, Raphaël’s mother and senior technician on our Granby office urban infrastructure team, who planned the event.
Congratulations, Team Raphman!
