EXP recently won two Project Excellence Awards from the London and District Construction Association (LDCA) for our work on the Nestle Project Pearl and 122 Baseline Road West projects. These awards are given to project teams that meet high quality standards and strive for excellence in every project phase. EXP is proud to be recognized for two of our projects.
Nestle Project Pearl was recognized in the Industrial category. Our teams provided geotechnical and environmental consultation services for this project resulting in a new 19,000 square foot addition to the existing factory in London, Ontario. This addition created the space necessary for two new production lines, thus enhancing efficiency within the factory and increasing production capacity.
The 122 Baseline Road West project was recognized in the Multi-Unit Residential Building category. This project is part of an affordable housing initiative in the Ontario area and opened in 2022. The development is 57,000 square feet and offers 61 units, on-site laundry, a common space with a full kitchen, administrative spaces and a garden. EXP performed the geotechnical and environmental site assessment on the land for this project. During construction, EXP performed quality assurance services such as geotechnical examinations and material testing, as well as construction administration support and building envelope consultation.
