EXP is pleased to announce that W. Beau Black has joined the firm as Louisiana Division Manager. Beau brings 25 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. Beau joins the firm following a successful tenure at the Louisiana Department of Transportation where he served as a liaison between state and local government officials. Beau’s experience also includes Louisiana ports and the oil and gas sectors. This experience will be beneficial as EXP continues to work to advance safer and more sustainable infrastructure across the US.
Beau will lead EXP’s operations in Louisiana from our new office in New Orleans. This office will allow the firm to continue expanding our services in Louisiana, provide an anchor for attracting and retaining local talent and be EXP’s center of growth while creating a positive impact on the region. Our technical experts are excited to work with state, local and federal partners throughout Louisiana as well as continuing our long-standing relationships with our private partners in the region.
“Beau’s knowledge of the local communities in Louisiana, the clients EXP serves and the government process make him a leader in our industry. Beau will apply this knowledge to lead business development and assess and manage project risks. His expertise will position him to be a leader in the growth and development of the firm. We are excited to welcome him to the team and to leverage his skills to help our clients meet their goals,” said EXP’s Senior Vice President John Flint.
