Your privacy is important to us. Exp Global Inc., its subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions and other members of its organization (collectively, “EXP”, “we”, “us”, “our”) want you, as a client, business partner, employee or visitor to our website, to know how your personal information is lawfully collected, processed, used and protected when you interact with EXP or access our website.
- What is personal information?
Personal information is data that can be used alone or in combination with other data to identify you directly or indirectly. Examples of what constitute personal information are:

EXP will collect personal data where it is necessary to comply with legal or regulatory requirements, to operate our business and maintain our contractual and commercial relations with you. The information we collect about you depends on how you interact with us.
EXP will obtain your consent in a form that depends on the sensitivity of the data we collect, the purpose for which it is collected and when required by law.
Generally, EXP will collect personal information when you provide it to us:

- As a candidate when you submit a job application;
- By subscribing to our newsletter, participating in events we promote or when engaging in marketing campaigns.
We may use your information to provide support to you, to communicate with you, respond to your requests as well as for security and administrative purposes.
Your personal data may be stored in various places, including on our servers and in our information management systems and databases and we may process your personal data in different geographical locations.
EXP does not collect personal data from children under the age of 16 without parental consent. In cases where we are made aware that such data was provided without permission, EXP will endeavor to seek parental consent or delete the child’s personal information.
- Limitation of use and disclosure of personal information
Your personal information shall only be used for the purpose for which it was intended and will only be shared with and processed by EXP employees who require it to perform their functions within EXP, with service providers with whom EXP has entered legitimate contracts offering a similar protection of personal data.
We do not share your personal data without your consent, unless legally compelled to do so, to protect our rights or your safety or to prevent fraudulent acts.
- Security of personal data
EXP takes the protection of your personal data seriously. Your personal information will be kept in a secure environment to protect it from unauthorized access, modification, use or disclosure. EXP has put in place security measures, administrative procedures and internal controls to ensure that you data is protected and cannot be accessed, modified or deleted.
While EXP has adequate security measures, we cannot guarantee that your personal information will be fully protected if a breach occurs.
- Business partners and third-party suppliers
EXP shares personal information with third parties who provide IT and cloud solutions, accounting, insurance and financial services primarily for processing, hosting and archiving data. When we share your data, we do so responsibly, and we contractually ensure that our partners have measures in place to safeguard your data and comply with legal requirements.
- Cross border transfer of your personal data
EXP provides services globally and as such, your personal data may be transferred across borders to other EXP companies and by third-party service providers. EXP generally maintains its servers in the United States and Canada, but your personal data may be processed in an area other than your country of residence.
- Website use and social media accounts
EXP collects certain personal information when you provide it on our website, such as when you choose to contact us. EXP then requires that you indicate your name, address, email address and certain other personal information. For purposes of analytics, we use Google Analytics and share non-personal information with them to analyze the usage of our website.
EXP also collects information that is not considered to be of a personal nature. EXP may automatically collect information of a general nature, such as the date and time of your visits, as well as the pages you have visited. Our servers may also automatically collect information about the type of browser you use, your screen resolution and the name of your Internet service provider. In addition, we may collect information from your browser’s cookies to identify your computer and obtain information about the frequency of your visits to our website. This information cannot identify you and is used solely for statistical purposes.
EXP’s website may include links to third-party websites. These third-party websites have separate and independent privacy policies that EXP recommends you review. EXP has no control over these websites or their content and, therefore, assumes no responsibility for the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information resulting from your visit to these websites.
Moreover, EXP has an active presence on various social media platforms (such as LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook) and if you choose to view or interact on such accounts, we may collect personal data made available when you comment on these social media platforms.
- Communications with you
EXP will always seek your consent when we wish to communicate with you through telecommunication or electronic means, including by SMS or emails, for promotional purposes and events. If you receive such communications from EXP, you will always have the option to unsubscribe or opt-out by directly contacting the sender.
However, you understand that if you decide to opt-out, we may not be able to provide you with our services for which you have registered or keep you informed of EXP events or initiatives.
We will not sell your personal data, including email address and phone number, to marketing firms or anyone else.
- Retention of personal data
EXP will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to meet the objective for which it was collected and in accordance with applicable statutory retention and limitation periods, professional and contractual requirements. The retention period shall also be assessed based on the type and nature of personal information we have collected.
EXP may also choose to anonymize your data instead of deleting or destroying it so that you can no longer be identified.
- Your rights
Where we rely on your consent for collecting and processing your private data, you may withdraw or change your consent to the use and disclosure of your personal information. You may also object to participate in specific uses and limit disclosures.
Finally, you have the right to access, inspect, modify, rectify or seek the deletion of your personal information. You may also ask that a copy of your personal data that we have be forwarded to you. Be aware that EXP must confirm your identity when you exercise one of these rights as a security measure to ensure that we disclose personal information to the right individual.
