Shaped for user functionality and efficiency, the Moncton Area Regional High School provides students with an atmosphere of comfort and learning, fostered by the playful use of color, texture and access to natural daylight.
This state-of-the-art high school accommodates approximately 1,250 students from grades 9 – 12. Upon entering, occupants are greeted by a large cafetorium/theatre adjacent to an open and airy library.
Designed and constructed to achieve three Green Globes, the building and site feature a number of sustainable features including improved overall energy performance to reduce overall building carbon footprint, improved indoor air quality through the use of low or no VOC products, and a “net zero” stormwater drainage design.
